In her role as Healthy Longevity Champion working with the National Innovation Centre for Ageing (NICA) in the UK, Tina Woods sets out the vision for a ‘Healthy Longevity Innovation Mission’ to harness science, technology, investment and policy for global sustainable impact. This Innovation Mission aims to ensure better health, ageing and wellbeing in the UK and globally, The blueprint for the Innovation Mission is geared to develop UK’s global leadership in science and technology, and support the ambition to aggregate and accelerate a national federated, open, data-driven, knowledge and insight epicentre harnessing ethically-driven AI to scale societal and commercial impact and meet UK’s government’s goal to increase healthy life expectancy and close the gap in health and wellbeing inequalities.
