Scientific Documentation of 100 Years of Clinical Experience with Fasting for Healthy Longevity at the Buchinger Wilhelmi Clinics

Fasting is the most powerful method for enhancing a healthy lifespan. It is a nutritional program for humans and animals that provides body cells with fat as fuel from adipose tissue instead of glucose from food. It also serves repair and regeneration functions, conferring anti-aging effects. The research program at the Buchinger Wilhelmi Clinics leverages 100 years of clinical experience with fasting to document the safety and therapeutic efficacy of the Buchinger Wilhelmi fasting program. In this talk at the Longevity Med Summit, I will provide an overview of the research studies demonstrating how fasting can be used in the treatment of metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease, as well as to promote gut health and overall healthy aging. I will also present exclusive results showing how a new at-home fasting program can be a powerful non-pharmacological tool to address the epidemic of chronic metabolic diseases.
